Arthur Reingold, MD, is Professor of Epidemiology at the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley; he joined the faculty there in 1987 after working for eight years for the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. His research focuses on the prevention and control of infectious diseases in the US and in various countries around the world, with an emphasis on vaccine preventable diseases and respiratory tract infections.
